We were watching one of the offseason games of San Beda Team Behold in the FEU gym in the Morayta area, when my sister and I saw a quaint little coffee shop sporting an oh-so-familiar name… CAFFE MOLINARI.
We first chanced upon this wonderful coffee brand at the Galileo Enoteca in Mandaluyong City. They offered Molinari as part of their Set Menu to include a cold cuts and cheese platter, a single serving of pasta, a glass of wine. After tasting Molinari, we have made it our household coffee during times when you just can’t drink instant. My favorite variant is the Decaffeinated Variety.
Upon seeing Caffe Mo, as they aptly call it, I was so happy that they have come to town, for Filipinos to enjoy a worthy alternative to Starbucks and other big coffeeshops. Prices are really reasonable. The coffee shop is probably targetting the student crowd, being conveniently located beside FEU in Manila, and UP, Claret, Holy Family, in Matalino Street in Quezon City.
A cup of brewed coffee costs P45, an additional P20 to make refillable.
